Airbnb is a peer-to-peer online marketplace and homestay network that enables people to list or rent short-term lodging in residential properties, with the cost of such accommodation set by the property owner. The company receives percentage service fees from both guests and hosts in conjunction with every booking. It has over 2,000,000 listings in 34,000 cities and 191 countries. Airbnb was founded in August 2008, is headquartered in San Francisco, California, and is privately owned and operated.

Aloft Hotels is a Hotel chain based in North America, owned by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, although it is referred to as "a vision of W Hotels". The brand's locations are extended-stay hotels focused primarily on rate-sensitive business travelers, also known as corporate transient travelers. Typically corporate transient travelers stay only during the week, leaving the occupancy of the subject hotels lower during the weekend. However, with true extended-stay business being over seven days, and many times beyond 30 days, it allows the hotel to maintain a higher occupancy average overall. While this occupancy generally comes with a lower average rate or Average Daily Rate, the Revenue Per Available Room Sold is typically higher as a result of the significantly higher occupancy and penetration rate within the respective markets.

The Clarion is a 17 storey hotel located beside the River Shannon on Steamboat Quay in Limerick. Due to its proximity to Thomond Park, a lot of opposing rugby teams stay here when they play Munster at the stadium, Clarion Hotel Limerick is the home of Munster Rugby.

Econo Lodge is an economy motel chain based in the United States and Canada. Econo Lodge is the second-largest brand in the Choice Hotels system. It aims to provide affordable rooms to budget travelers. The properties contain a minimum of 40 guest rooms and are often located near highways or highway access. All hotels provide a free breakfast. While most of the properties are conversions, Choice Hotels plans to add more new-construction properties to the Econo Lodge brand.

Even Hotels (styled EVEN Hotels) is a hotel brand concept created by InterContinental Hotels Group in 2012 to create a hotel that meets travelers’ holistic wellness needs. Even Hotels is aimed at business and leisure travelers who are looking for a wellness experience in a hotel stay at a mainstream price point. The company aims to roll out the new hotel brand initially in North America with a target of 100 hotels in five years, with the first opening in June 2014 in Norwalk, Connecticut with a 129-room hotel.

Fairfield Inn by Marriott is a lower-cost, economy brand of hotels that are franchised by Marriott International. The Blackstone Group then established G6 Hospitality LLC as the management company for Motel 6 and Studio 6.

Renaissance Hotels is a worldwide brand of hotels and resorts. The brand is owned by Marriott International and many Renaissance Hotels are managed by Marriott; however, some are operated under a franchise license. Renaissance Hotels, Resorts and Suites cater to an upmarket segment of the traveling public. While initially acquired by Marriott as a secondary-brand, in recent years Renaissance has been promoted to a primary brand.

Rodeway Inn is a chain of economy-priced hotels in the United States and Canada. Founded by Michael Robinson in 1962, the franchise is now led by Choice Hotels corporation.

The origin of the brand date back to 1933, when Harvard classmates Ernest Henderson and Robert Moore purchased the Continental Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In 1937 they purchased the Standard Investing Company and made it the company through which they ran their hotels. Their second hotel, and the first as part of the new company, was the Stonehaven Hotel in Springfield, Massachusetts, a converted apartment building they purchased in 1937. The chain got its name from a third hotel the pair acquired in Boston, which already had a large lighted sign on the roof saying "Sheraton Hotel" that was too expensive to change. Instead, Henderson and Moore decided to call all their hotels by that name.

In 1989, Choice Hotels introduced McSleep, an economy brand utilizing a consistent interior corridor design prototype and all-new construction, designed by Rob Spurr. Tru by Hilton is a brand of hotels trademarked by Hilton Worldwide. The hotel brand was announced in January 2016 at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit in Los Angeles. The first Tru by Hilton hotels are expected to open in late 2016.
