A man charged in a drink-driving crash that seriously injured a California boy had been deported to Mexico 15 times in as many years, US officials say. US Immigration and Customs Enforcement said the suspect had been "Repatriated to Mexico at least 15 times since 2002, most recently in January 2017". He was charged with driving under influence, hit-and-run and driving without a licence. Another man was also arrested in connection with the crash.
